Biography

Georgiana Harriett St Leger was the daughter of John Chester and Philippa Rooper, was born in 1864 at Firbeck, Yorkshire, England. [1] Place of birth from 1911 England and Wales Census.[2]

She married John Walter Parry-Crooke on 12 April 1888 at London, England. [3]
"On Thursday last the marriage of Mr. John Walter Parry-Crooke, eldest son of Mr. Parry-Crooke, of Darsham House, Suffolk, and 60, Rutland-gate, with Miss Georgiana St. Leger, daughter of Colonel St. Leger, of Park-hill, Yorkshire, took place at All Saints’ Church, Ennismore-gardens, at two o’clock, amidst a large number of friends. After the ceremony, the wedding party adjourned to the Alexandra Hotel, where they were entertained by Colonel and Mrs. St. Leger. The bride and bridegroom left at four o’clock for Dover, en route for Florence." [4]

Georgiana Harriett (née St Leger) Parry-Crooke died in 1946.[5]

She was buried at All Saints Churchyard, Darsham, Suffolk Coastal District, Suffolk, England.[6]
